Activities at St Dominics are resident driven and change to cater for the residents residing in the Home at that time.  The Activities organised are varied and are catered to individuals’ needs such as sight, hearing impairments and mobility issues.  Residents are encouraged to hold their own meetings, supported by the Manager and the Activities staff, and set their own agenda.  Residents chose to be involved in what suits them.

In the communal areas residents are able to access an extensive range of reading material, much of which is in large print, and we are also visited by a mobile library and several residents receive audio books via RNIB.  Newspapers are available to order on a daily/weekly basis via the local newsagents at resident’s own cost.  All tastes are catered for in the form of musical entertainment via CD’s and our very own piano.
